General Description

N-Nonylcyclohexane, also known as 1-Cyclohexyl nonane, is a colorless liquid hydrocarbon that is derived from nonyl alcohol and cyclohexane. It is commonly used as a solvent and a raw material in the production of chemicals such as plasticizers, lubricants, and surfactants. N-Nonylcyclohexane is also used as a fragrance ingredient in cosmetic and household products. It is not considered to be highly toxic, but prolonged exposure to high concentrations may cause irritation to the skin and eyes. Additionally, it may pose a risk to aquatic organisms if released into the environment.
